My Blog.. 3 years old!!

Hi everyone (yet again..)

In all of the commotion ... Erasmus, Belfast.. birthdays of families and friends.. I forgot one very important Birthday!!

The one from my Blog.. Auch I feel soo ashamed..

My Blog *Keiko's Place*.. has blown out 3 candles last february.. The 25th to be exactly!
So..

A Happy (belated) birthday to my Blog..
who kept me company for soo long.. (but is not aged enough to have wine already, so I'm sticking to balloons!!)

More people come and go..

Hi everyone,

Afther the previous devastating post, some more sad news.. This and next week a couple more Erasmusstudents will be leaving us for good.. Yesterday we had Lotte's and Elsbeth's Goodbyeparty over at Robinsons (where I heard Moya Brennan play by the way!.. Although not live, it was on the radioplayers.. close huh?) It was an emotional evening filled with questions, why go back to Belgium? What are you going to do? How long are you still staying?
Belfast is running empty.. Jeroen, Katrijn, Thomas are leaving tomorrow.. Rik, Frederik, Ann en Nikita next week.. I had some nice contacts with these people! And they will be missed.. :) Miss them allready.. Early this morning when we got back home I had to let it sink in a bit cos I was sad.. And now I'm even sadder.. Oh dear.. Tonight is the party of the others.. The thing is.. It's all the Belgians who are leaving! There will be no Belgian left at the end :P except for us and about 4 or 5 others.. Pity.. a real pity!!

I had some superb memories here! I will never, ever, ever, ever forget about these! This is (still) an adventure for me,.. and it's just a bit sad for me that it took so long for me to adjust (what I expected so.. but still I managed to adjust to the new people very quickly!)

So long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu..

Still we are trying to have some kind of contact with everyone and can I hear some words dropping about a reunion next year here in Ireland.. But I don't think that's already well through tought of!
The thing we are going to have is called a Facebook.. Some system like Netlog I presume, I just signed up yesterday so, I still have to find out a couple of things!

Black day...

Hi everyone..

I'm back with not so good news..

This morning I received an email from our international coordinator saying somebody had died from a severe and deadly accident..

Sofie Lagast and friend were the unfortunate victems who died in a caraccident in Harelbeke...

It is quite terrible, she was my classmate in the first year and she was someone who was very nice. I can remember her very good as someone with a great opinion, full of life and she was very talkative! She graduated from school last year as a nursery teacher and went on an erasmus herself to Madrid.

It is a great loss, cos she was really someone who I looked up too and she was a very competent person in what she did.. Too see her die in such a stupid accident is just horrible.. And it's a bit sad I can't attend the funeral on the 29th of March!

I don't know if it was her boyfriend who was in the crash herself..

Only 1 more month...

Hi peeps..

Live from Belfast..
Today I can say I only have 1 more month left to go in Belfast! Time flies here! I love it here.
The people are so nice, I get the a lot of things and get to know a lot of people. Yesterday 3 other Erasmus students left for Germany, the Netherlands and USA, they will be missed.. We had a goodbye-party over at Robinsons were most people showed up and enjoyed a good time.
I don't have a lot of plans these week, only to work for school and go to the library on friday to work some for our Maths assignment. I wanted to go travel to Queens uni today but I was unfortunatly to lazy :P

My travel to Donegal is turning out okay :) Getting help from some people over at the forum!
I'm really excited about my travel to there..
Trips includes:
- Bunbeg, Gweedore and Dunlewy
-Mount Errigal, Glenveagh nature park, Tory Island, Bunbeg beach.. enz..!

I am really looking forward to it! The big cherry on the cake will be the visit to Crolly and the Tabhairne Leo! Yihaaa!! A couple of days ago I found an advertisement of the pub in one tourismemagazine :P I was going berserk almost :P
Well, I still don't know yet when I'm going, probably somewhere in early april..

But 19 april is getting closer.. and then I get to leave Ireland and return home to my sweetheart :) (that I miss) Soo.. I will be excited and sad at the same time.. ah well.. still one month to do some fine things!

A little chat with me?

Hi everybody..

Another poste from cold, cold Ireland!
How is everybody? I'm.. cold :P, but exept for that, extremely fine!
I like it here very ver much, although the homesickness and the Micsickness is starting to kick in.

Sometimes I get quit bored too, without my computer I have nothing to do! Outside it's to cold or to windy to get out.. So sometimes I get a bit depressive, because the only thing I can do is work for school.. (more depressing right?)

I want to do something, but I can't seem to get the right contacts for that.. Are we then so isolated? Have no idea,.. haven't been out as well, so I'm getting a bit stressed out by that as well. So.. what do I do then? Come complain on my Blog.. Happy me (Sarcasme)


So.. what Have I been up to so far? A quick review:
- I did practice
- I did my bachelor project about Health, with Wouter
- I went up a hill
- I came down from the hill
- I went to Belfast castle
- I've been listening to the winds.
- I was frozen this morning
- I didn't do nothing except..

--> I found my new goal in life!

ahem.. not only to mention: working on the computer of Wouter
AND finally started to learn for my @!"** Drivers license.. Well! If it wasn't already boring enough, I do some more boring stuff! But that's me..
I finally took that giant leap for mankind and started to get to know more of cars and all of their adventures.

But still I have 2 (BIG) Problems..
1) I have no car.. and probably wont afford to buy one in -lets say- 3 years (probably even more) That is.. If I'm gonna find an old biljonair to wed (sorry Mic :P) or win the lottory
2) I have no money at all.. not for cars, not to take the practical exam..

So? Why Sara, why o why would you consider to start allready?
a) Because I want to have my drivers license
b) Because everybody has their drivers license
c) Because I'm jalous of other people with their drivers license
d) Because I think I'm old enough to start learning.. (right)
e) Because otherwise I don't have nothing to do here.. SHIT.. that's really depressing right?


So? Good reasons? Not at all.. but I'm doing it. LOL

Ahem.. so that was my nagging for today.. Thank you for reading.. Hope you come again :D
