Wat er aan mij is verloren gegaan... AKA.. What futile dreams I once had/or have..

 1. A race car driver...

Everytime I hear the motor roar, when shifting gears.. I imagine myself,  all alone on the huge race circuit of the show 'top gear'... yes... sounds like a wet dream :)... too bad I cannot go further then 120 km/hour... never say this out loud to your husband... I was frowned upon this, alot. Yes.. one of my dreams still is just doing the *donut* for once :P

2. A musical Star...

Zero talent - but never really sure of that :P... LOOOOOOVE musicals!!! :) Too bad I didn't do anything about it..

3. Being a soprano...

No lord no... i'm quite good at being the Alto... but.. a little bit of ambition éh? :p no, just no.

4. A stewardess../or in general having a job at SABENA (now known as Brussels Airlines)

I just loved the job of my aunt Gretel! I was so jealous of all the places she got to go! but hey, too far away from my 'loving' home at that time.

5. Playing an instrument.. 

In the future I will eventually play one instrument! I have so many favorites!!! Violin, piano, hobo.. the harp... In de meantime,.. my recorder is my best friend.. 

6. A voice on the radio/ having a radioshow..

Over a decade ago, one teacher (she gave expression) in middleschool said to me I had a great voice.. (for telling childrens stories)  and even suggested to me I could be on the radio! That stayed for me till now :) ah well... I like to think I would be suited, maybe? :)

7. Being a student at the RITCS.. 

At our 'movieschool' in Brussels... but.. it was too far away, and I was too much with my head in the clouds.. I just loved movies back then, I even wanted to do something with it in my future career.. but hey.. my mother knows best after all.. (don't you just HATE that expression????)

8. Being a Speech therapist..

Yep.. considered this before opting for kindergartenteacher... 

9. Going on adventures on so many places!

Nope.. not yet. maybe in my next life.. or in 5 years from now!

10. And many many more..

What to expect when youre expecting your first tattoo!

 Dear blog...

As I write this post, I have not yet received (or even buy, asked) my tattoo... (Damn you corona!)

But! Finally I got *permission* to go ahead and finally get one.. the one I always wanted...

Soo... The getting-of-a-tattoo is a work in progress!!! 

Since I was a little teen girl I always have known I wanted one.. (sorry.. bad grammar) And now i'm a 30 ish girl.. that's still a teen in my eyes :) or a tween for it matter. or a twirthy? What ever. What I do know i'm having a kind of a rebellious fase... about 20 years after you're supposed to rebel :P

I'm defenitly telling NO-ONE.. Except you guys :) xx

+ I even know which one! It defenitly is going to be a killer whale.. YES! For some obvious reasons :D

Just a black and white tattoo.. not to big, or to obsceen or to revealing.. it's just only for ME and for the one and only who ever sees me naked.. (aka - the hubbie) or in a swimming pool If i'm every getting that BIKINI body :P HAHAHAHAHAH.. (not likely)

So.. this year I have been pondering quite deep about the place on my body of getting the thing.. and I still do not know for sure...  ever since my nephew said to me, he won't ever put a tattoo on his back (because he can't see it properly) I am trying to figure out the right place.. (cos yes.. i wanted one on my shoulderblade and that's to much on the back)

What do you guys suggest?? I think it's rather difficult.

+ I even know what kind of tattoo... it's going to be an elegant 'one - line tattoo'.. 

+ I even know where i'm getting one! We have a famous one not to far from home.. (in Oudenaarde)

+ I'm not yet sure.. the 'WHEN' is.. maybe december? Or maybe better 2021.. 

So.. wish me luck you guys!!

Yesterday I found something rather funny on the WWW!

I was listening to songs on Youtube.. (love doing this sometime :P)

and came across this comment:

Now with the Covid 19 virus released on the world, it made me think.. What if we are coming nearer to the end of the world? What if! What if... You know.. the Mayans vanished from the earth as well.. so are the people from 'Easter Island'.. just.. Without any trail!!

But... WE HAVE THE INTERNET.... There will ALWAYS be proof of OUR existence.. So.. It made me think.. What would be on MY list? So here we GO!
