A blog about the little things in life that make you happy.. You could be happy about 'sniffing at the bakery' or even 'pick your nose'.. He has been writing from 2008, every day one thing that are really awesome.

He even got a book 'The book of Awesome'. with lots of small lines :

Great huh!?!
If you had to think about 10 things.. what would it be? (and no peeking to what mr Pasricha already wrote!)

If I had to say.. hmm.. I will try..

10. sitting outside, in the shade, sunshining and a little breeze..
9. The smell of Barbeque.. love it.
8. The first time you see your whole family again.
7. some school calling me for jobs unexpectedly
6. finding money in your handbag you have trown in a while ago :P
5. getting something so much cheaper, that costed so much during sales.
4. putting on comfy summershoes with no laces-velcro whatsoever.
3. a cooling fan.

What Wiki says:
Marineland is an animal exhibition park in Antibes, France. It was founded in 1970 by Roland de la Poype. First, it was a small oceanarium with a few pools and animals but now it is one of the biggest in the world and receives more than 1,200,000 visitors per year. It is the only French sea park featuring two cetacean species: killer whales and dolphins.
On July 25, 2006, the park was sold to the Spanish amusement park group Parques Reunidos for about 75 million Euros. Parques Reunidos also operates
L'Oceanografic in Valencia on the Spanish mainland
  • Killer whale show: the largest tank in the world performing in eleven million gallons of water, with a panoramic glass wall 64 metres long where the spectacular power of these mammals weighing several metric tons rivals the gentle complicity binding the whales with their trainers. Marineland holds four orcas: Freya, Valentin (Freya's son), Inouk and Wikie.
  • Dolphin show: Marineland’s family of bottlenose dolphins deploy all their charms: speed, accuracy, agility and complete trust in their trainers.
Les Coulisses de l'apprentissage (sea lion show): A live demonstration of the learning techniques used with all the mammals in the park, in which the
seal and sea lion trainers disclose some of the "ropes" for preparing the show, the better to understand the basis of the relationship between humans and animals.
  • The shark tunnel: Thanks to a 30-metre-long tunnel through a huge aquarium containing nearly 2 million litres of water, visitors are literally surrounded by sharks and manta rays swimming around them.
  • Life under the sea (The tropical aquarium gallery and The touch pool): The tropical aquarium gallery is a temple to the world of coral reefs, with very different vo-lumes represented and the touch pool is a chance to caress skates and rays - fish that literally "fly" in the water - with your finger-tips.
  • Pinnipeds: beaches featuring California sea lions, South American sea lions, black seals and grey seals.
  • Aquatic birds: beaches featuring penguins, pelicans and flamingos.
  • Meeting with dolphins: Each session lasts approximately 1 hour, to discover the biology and ecology of dolphins, before approaching the dolphins for 20 mn under close supervision by trainers on a sunken deck.

Almost fainting.. 4 killerwhales?? Wow! Thougt there were only 3 :D

Rock Werchter!

Dear blog...

I've done it.. I have been to Werchter, an musical festival somewhere far away from Deinze.. On a (too) sunny morning we packed a few things and took of to Werchter, (somewhere near the border with Antwerp I think) It was a saturday and it was the 3rd of July :D.. And the WK (soccer) was all over the place too! http://www.rockwerchter.be/

It was my first time, it was Mic's first time too! We had to be there, because Rammstein was coming! And I like Rammstein very much! But first we saw some other artists, like P!nk and Gossip, Das Pop too.. I guess the best performance was for P!nk and Rammstein, with a lot of decor and stuff..
Werchter was a huuuuge place! I thought it was a wee bit smaller, but big! We immediatly went to the front of the mainstage and didn't move from that spot whatsoever! We were quite close to the stage too :D (NICE!)
It was a long hard day, thank God it wasn't a hot day, that would be too hard. We had some shades, some clouds and a bit or refreshing rain. It was the best day of the 4!
Then at 10ish PM Rammstein started! I was dumb enough to go a bit closer (standing in the middle thus) and offcourse.. hard music makes people go crazy or sumethin.. cos everyone started going nuts in the center where I was... DAMN. Mic had to hold me, cos some guyes could easily tip me over with ther rudish kind of game.. BLEH.. I was getting so freaking mad! I wanted to enjoy the concert, but with those arses jumping around and pushing everyone, it was'nt fun for ANYONE. So Mic and I went back and back. (eventually we were back too or former spot :P)
But afterall... Rammstein was GUT! They played a very few songs from 'Mutter'.. and only one? from 'Reise,Reise'.. most of the rest were from the latest album 'Liebe ist fo alle da'. With a great performance of 'Pussy'!!! (lovely, lovely!! and funny!!) and the encore were 'Sonne' (now I was superhappy with that!! It's just a great song..) and they did a loooong version of 'Ich will'.. now throw in some big fire, fireworks, creepy make-up, a (too)skinny man (keyboard) in a boat sailing the 'audience'.. yes it was quite the entertaining thing of Rammstein...

the thing I was soo much dissapointed for was the fact, no artist played theire 'hour'.. I mean, they were set too play like for an hour and a half en sometimes they did just half an hour, or just an hour.. sooooooo bad! Really!! For that amount of money they can't even play longer???? Really.. pissed me off..

The good thing was, my brother was there too.. (he got even in for free).. but that was because he was working at the catering! :)
At 12ish we were really dead, and had to drive back to Deinze.. it was hard.
But it was much fun. I don't think i'm going again.. it's too expensive.. if Coldplay is coming, I think I would reconsider going.
I also was shocked with the huge amount of people running around.. we heard some Americans, Dutch, French and even people from Scandinavia! Gosh.. that was something..
Kiss!
xxSara
