We are planning (for at least another 2 to 3 years..) a trip to America..
We wanted to buy a second hand used car for 2 (or maybe 3) months and drive through North America..
What I wanted to ask if there are places a Belgian tourist HAS to see in America??
Mic and I are looking for some good ideas to go see in the US!
I will list and update my ideas from today to the day we really go! :)

The things I want to see:
- The city of MIAMI! ... As a huge fan of CSI Miami.. I sure HOPE I will see David Caruso in a HUMMER when I'm there lying on the beach frying up. Are there any other things there?
- I wanna go to SEA WORLD, DISNEYWORLD and other attraction parcs... (Thinking of doing this too in Miami or San Diego)
- I'd love to see the Weeki Wachee Mermaids.. (http://weekiwachee.com/main/) as seen a couple of years ago on the Belgian tv.. 'Salmon for Corleoni'
- Visiting Vancouvers Island and Britisch Colombia (I KNOW this is actuatlly Canada.. but wasn't it too close too the North America border?)

Amaai, maanden geleden dat ik uw blog nog heb gelezen :-) Ik ga ze nog eens in mijn newsreader moeten stoppen.
Ik veronderstel dat uw eerste zin een typfoutje is (2 tot 3 maand ipv jaar?).
Lijkt me niet makkelijk om zonder citizenship een auto te kopen, verzekering af te sluiten, ...
Ik zou Amerika niet in een keer doen... Ander is er geen fun meer aan om nog es terug te keren :-) Grofweg zou ik de states onderverdelen in oostkant en westkant en kiezen om 1 maand rond te touren. Westkust lijkt me zeker leuk (Vancouver, Seattle, San Fran, LA, Las Vegas, Yosemite, ...) Zal wel een serieus ritje worden :-)

Nou ik bedoelde dat het zeker nog 2 tot 3 jaar zal duren voor we derop uit trekken.
Hmm.. Een beter idee is dus eigenlijk gewoon een auto huren dan, denk ik.
Bedankt allesinds voor de tip zeg. San Francisco en La wil ik eigenlijk ook wel doen :D
