Dear blog..
And no.. thank god, i have never found any porno on those cassettes! But man.. mysteries where there to be solved!!
And yes.. I have found out about them all! WHAAHAHAAH!!
Back in the day I was a huge movie nerd.. (still, but I toned down a little)
I even collected VHS movies off ALLLL sorts of genres. I bought a lot too, but also recorded many many many movies..
I checked every unmarked cassette (even the ones from my grandparents) and just had to label 'em all.. I felt a huge satisfaction doing this.. I was pleased with the end result.. (even on sick days, i can remember, I was playing VHS cassettes and marking them every time I saw something new)
It got so far, I even put a system in my cassettes, giving them each one a number, that I would write down in my huge binder (not that huge) with all movies (Classified with genre)
YES I was a WANNABE - video rental store... and my closest friends, came around and got some VHS :D Cool huh? Sometimes I do love a little administration :D
And now.. in this day and age of Internet - Youtube - DVD's and other shit.. I had to make the difficult choice of throwing most of them away (or even get as stupid and try to sell them :P)
I must say.. I own a very large amount of Disney cassette (also the U versions of some -meaning only English- and just a lot a lot alot.. I think about 50.. I am nog planning on getting rid of those.. That's my entire childhood right there!
Some of my favourite (recorded) cassettes are still here and going to stay.. an example right here..
The Splash one I recorded a gazillion years ago.. (I think I was about 9, when I first saw it too!)
And this one..
Cassette number 21.. one of my favs.. and it looks like, I did not watch the whole cassette, bu only the endings I loved more..
What is on it?
*Peter Pan on ICE.. and I mean.. I got some great memories about this!! I went to see it, with Aunt Mietje! I was about 8 years old.. I remember something about 1994.. I went to see this and I remember not much of the actual day, but more of the video broadcasting from back then.. (I was a little in love with Peter Pan that day.. he was such a handsome man)
*Beauty and the Beast on Ice.. And yes! I have been to that one too!!! :D loved it..
*The bunny tales (by Jim Henson) .. I did not watch this too often, cos it was too dificult too understand.. HURRAY for YT.. cos it has it all!!
*Le petit Maison..
Have fun with the movies!
Care Bears are a fictional group of multi-colored bear characters, originally painted in 1981 by artist Elena Kucharik to be used on greeting cards from American Greetings but in 1983, the characters were turned into plush teddy bears.
The characters headlined their own television series called Care Bears from 1985 to 1988. They also made three feature films: The Care Bears Movie (1985), Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation (1986), and The Care Bears Adventure in Wonderland (1987).
Each Care Bear is a different color and has a special "belly badge" that represents its personality. Adding to the Care Bear family is the "Care Bear Cousins", which feature a lion, rabbit, penguin, raccoon, monkey, elephant, pig, snakes, dog, cat, and horse created in the same style as the Care Bears.
Just.. sending all my love to.. (in Dutch) Troetelland... (CARE - A - LOT)
No such luck on finding the movies on YT... Unfortunatly.. But here are some movie trailers :D
And my favorite song!
