Hi Blog!
Time for the research of the next VHS TAPE from the 90's.. And i've come to terms, I will not ever throw some of them away, like I actually was intended to do in the first place.
Next one is up:

Yes i watched again after 20+ years.. And oddly it felt like coming home.. even remembering the lyrics from the songs.. although I could'nt recall I would watch this movie so many times like others.. it felt quite strange hearing it again after so many years..
actually I watched this for knowing it's not that gruesome to show to my kids. because it was quite sad too..

- The director of this movie is Don Bluth.. quite famous for every good cartoon in the 80's - 90's.. (including secret of Nimh, Thumbalina, Land before time and even Anastasia) First starting his careers at Disney where he worked on Sleeping beauty and Merlin. (but nevertheless not even mentioned on movies credit list..
- Mr Bluth is still with us at the age of 88 (1937!) and is born in El Paso Texas! (wasn it the birthplace of one of het girlfriends of S?)Think so!
- this movie came out in 1989
- Original voices for the main characters are: Dom Deluise (Itchy the dashund) and Burt Reynolds for Charlie (streetdog) Dom died in 2009 at the age of 75 and Burt died in 2018 at the age of 82.
- the saddest part of this movie was the death of original voice Anne-Marie (Judith Barsi) she died before the movie came out in 1988 at the age of 10 years old. She was killed by her abusive father in a homicide killing off all family members.
- it is rumoured that the final lines (farewell to Anne-Marie when departing to heaven) by Burt Reynolds to the character of Judith Barsi where shot after her murder and thus very emotional to the actor! It had to be redone over 70 times!
- The Dutch voices of Barry Hay, Martin van Waardenberg and Lies Schilp where used for Dutch voices.. Good to know.. Barry Hay (Charlie) is a singer from a wellknown band called Golden earing! About:- This aired as a tv movie in 1995!
- Was filmed in Caïro, Egypt.. (wrong place no?)
- Included 2 very well known skaters: Kurt Browning and Kristi Yamaguchi
- It's kind of a remake but features a skating rink! =) and quite the impressive moves! (These skaters were no less but World Champions (Canada and US) in the 90's!
- Great to watch after all those years..
- I've ever been to 2 shows (when I was younger) Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan.. that I recall just a little! (before 1995 - and going with my aunt Mietje - Thank you) but not Aladin I think.
- A small piece from The horse in the gray flannel suit.. (did I recognize)
I actually had this movie taped on another cassette and watched is when I was so much younger.. I found the whole movie on YT and will watch it over the next couple of days..

- tv Movie from 1987 and about 28 minutes long.
- No wellknown actors, but okay performances.
- just a golden oldie, not mucht to be found of this particular movie.
- aired on tv 1 (former BRT 1)
- A couple of episodes from Flipper the series (aired in 1995 till 2000) with even a young Jessica ALBA!
(just 2 episodes.. ' season 1 episode 3 and 4: the green freak and 'true believer'. )
About:
- Jessica Alba was kidnapped by animal right's activists off the set of this show. She was missing for 14 hours until she was found gagged and bound in the trunk of a car. She left the series soon after this. They never found the people who kidnapped her! Wow!
