Welcome at Sara's 2007..

Hi everyone! Today i'm posting my 'end of the year - into the new year' review.. On the left the lovely Mr Hoste (THE best Stand-up-comediant of BE) will guide me in this review.. and will help me to add the funny bits too.. (see last year!)
Today I will tell you about 2007, my 2007! The ups and downs (but mostly the UPS!) But before I start... I want to wish you a *Merry Christmas*!!
Like last year.. i'm keeping the same titles like last year.. it covers all I am and are...

Generally:

==>2007 was a nice, fun and interesting year! Especially very positive and filled with love!!! I found my love this year.. I mentioned him a couple of times on my blog and now he had conquered my heart.. so i'm very happy nowadays! (but more of that under caption 'Love') :P And and I passed my second year at KATHO (very surprisingly) Thanks to Miss Mieke of the 3e kk, who helped me alot with my grades.. And off course my loving children! I had high points in the 2e kk, (with my former miss whom I had in my 7th year in Sint Theresia) and fun children who I allready know of because of my practice in the Afterschool care in Olsene. But more of that in caption 'school'

L’amour/ Love:

Ik zou zeggen, hetzelfde als altijd. Nougabollen dus. :S.. maarre, ik ben ook
niet echt aant zoeken. (Beetje lui op dat vlak) en ja, de liefde wil me ook maar
niet vinden hé! Ik heb wel iets waar ik naar uit kijk als ik ga werken! Er komt
altijd een erg leuk iemand.. (die altijd zo mooi naar me lacht) achter vlees
:D.. dan pas is men dag weer goed! Hehe.. ik *hou* van men werk in de GB :D

Remember this saying? I'm really happy to say I found my match in the GB :P.. he, a guy living no further then the GB has stolen my heart.. and it's really him from this quote of last year! Last June I had a breakthrough with looking him up on Netlog - former known as Redbox (where I also have an account) and I found him on it... I was in shock that time.. and didn't know what to do.. I really was blown away that I found him on Netlog.. really.. You should have see me.. You declared me mental! But after a few moments of hesitation I left a note in his Guestbook.. not much hoping, but still hoping a little.. days after that.. he finally wrote back to me.. And I was sooo estatic! Damn! We wrote a few messaged on netlog when I slipped him my emailadress.. so he could put me on MSN.. I firstly was afraid he didn't had one.. but guess what? HE DID! Aaargh... really.. after long chatting and more chatting and more chatting.. (he didn't know it was me from the GB) he recognised me from the GB.. and asked me out on a date.. After one date, came another and another.. The rest is history.. Where almost together for half a Year.. (6 months..) Still loving him.. although I'm a bit mad... so is he :P so we match perfectly! So happy... Love you Mic..

School:

I passed my second year at Katho, thank God.. cos I was panicking again like in my first year! It was horrible to see that Natalie and a few others didn't pass their years.. I'm still very sad about that.. I made really great friends in school!! I'm happy to say that Eline did got thru her year! With a few exams left.. Sarah, Kimberly, Fientje and Natalie.. Sarah decided to go to another school as like Natalie, but Fientje and Kimberly decided to do their years a second time! (Kimberly dropped out a few weeks back..) Hoping for the best for Fientje!
My practices were good, especially the ones in 2e kk, (with my former miss whom I had in 7th year at Childcare (Kinderzorg) *she's on maternity leave now.. think she had her child recently!
I love the children at that age! (3to 4years) I think it was a B I had for that practice.. or at least it was a C.. I'm not sure anymore.. Nevertheless it was a very good practice with the theme of 'Camping'! I had a swell time! The other practice at the 3e kk (5-6) was also very good. My miss helped me alot and I was very fond of her! There were a lot of children (27!) but I managed to get through, with a little help of Miss Mieke and the Headmaster of the school.. I really liked that school.. When I got my grades at the end of the schoolyear, I didn't had ANY exams! I passed them ALL! What? This never happend to me.. this was the first time! So I had a very enjoyable vacation.. spend with? :P

And? Wanna know about the best part?? On the bottom of my report it stated: This student is allowed to go study abroad!!!!!!! WOW! Was I happy or was I HAPPY? I'm accepted to go study abroad! What a great thing that was.. really..

At the end of September I started my third year with Eline and 52 more of the students who passed their year. So.. of all students there were only 53 left! I'm very happy to say I'm amongst them.. really! We allready had 2 practices, one in toddlerclass (2,5 to 3 years) and one in first grade (6-7years) Theyre were both good and I got a C for the first and a B for the second practice.. thus that makes me allowed to go to Ireland even more!! What a blissfull schoolyear it has been up to now.. Next month I'll be travelling to Ireland and study there for 3 months.. (3 MONTHS!!) together with Wouter D. also from my class and Eline and Tine going to Tanzania...

First of all those exams!! Yuk... And all of those assignments we have to do.. It's murder I'll tell you.. We had a gazillion things to do! Pffff... Luckely some of those things are allready finished by now.. And our 'End work' turned out to be very interesting as well :D.. I'm very happy I got this one!

Muziek:

Not much this year.. I'm still into Moya and Enya.. but I haven't buyed any cd's because I already have them! I haven't buyed any cd's this year I think.. or maybe a few Disney cd's? I don't know anymore..

Sport:

Aarrgh.. I'm sorry to say but I quitted Gymclasses.. My fitness carreer is over! shit.. I'm as floppy as ever.. I really have to train when I'm in Ireland.. I heard there's a gym and a swimming pool nearby..
I have to say, i'm afraid to go back to the Gym.. (if you see the owner of it.. you'd know why...)
I would like to do sports again.. something like tennis or swimming.. and maybe *running* . But the determination is sometimes hard to find... :S

Work:

I have to say I've quited my job at the GB, that is.. they fired me.. Not really firing, but the very same thing.. Mr Pol and Wim decided to stop with the shop and looked for a new owner. He came and immediatly stated that he didn't want to work with students and he changed the hours of Sunday (theire closed now on Sunday's) It's a real pity it didn't lasted.. I really enjoyed working there.. A great loss (in my bank account that is..) I worked till the beginning of November.. now it's over.. I made great friends, I liked my colleages and I will miss them.. but on the other hand, I'm really enjoying my spare time now..:D
My job at the Paleastra I gave up, because of the time I needed in this year.. and I am gone in January as well.. so..
My job at Olsene (from the summervacation) was really great! I love it there.. they even raised money for me to go to Ireland.. isn't that terrific? I'm so happy I work there..

Forums?: Movies!

2006 WAS the year of the forum.. but 2007 defenitly wasn't.. Didn't had the time to visit and post reguraly on all these forums! I still watch and read through them.. but not post that often anymore.. I'm still on Moya's forum, Unity.. sometimes.. and Charmed-net for reading those fictive stories about Charmed.. Enyasworld will never come back.. unfortunatly.. very sad it is.. But 2007 was the year of the movie! I've been to several movies with several people.. And it was alot! In total I counted about 9 movies on a period of 6 monts! WOW.. that's much.. It started off when I met Mic, he took me to Shrek 3.. and then another one.. and another one.. Here's my list of movies from July 2007 till - December 2007: (the order is quite messed up, I only know about the first one and the last one)

Family:

Everything okay! Yasmin and Ilyes doing fine!! Love those little rascalls :P.. A week ago on the 25th of December my mother throw us a Christmasparty again.. Some of the family attented the party and we had so much fun! And off course.. on the 8th of September Jo and Natalie have had their big wedding.. (finally a wedding again!!) and it was sooooooo beautiful!)

Friends:

Friends come and go.. I met fantastic people... including my Mic and my schoolmates as forumpalls and netlogfriends.. :) I met the International people who are now on our school till the end of January... I had Susanna (from Portugal) in my class as well :D

What are the peaks?

- Finding love.. (that's a high one!)
- My vacation with Natalie, Eline and me IN DISNEYland Paris! (3 days..) in June
- Me passing the Second year at Katho..
- Having passed my Practice as well.. (of this trimester)
- Meeting up with lots of people.. like Mic's family and friends, schoolmates.. fellow erasmussers and so on!
- Accepted to go to Ireland.. (that's a high one as well!)
- Working with Wouter (on our BP and our Trip to Ireland) has turned out to be quit good.
- Meeting with Mr Paul Anthony.. from St Mary's University College Belfast..
- Going to Bray Dunes (review of that to follow!) with Mic and his friends Valentijn and Stefanie.
- Done with the biting! (nails.. you know..) thanks to a certain someone..
-Getting all those nice presents from everyone! (Thanks Sam, mom, Mic...)

What do I expect from 2008?

- I sure wants Mic by me.. for a long time! :D
- I hope Mic has a great year 2008 in tow.. I wish him all his dreams comes true! Together with me *please* (k)
- I think Mic's Godchild (he will be Godfather of his eldest brother's firstborn) will be a girl... (Due for February)
- I hope that everything will turn out okay for Natasha's Son!! (Also due for February)
- I hope I enjoy myself in Ireland..
- I want to pass my last year at Katho.. and graduate as a kindergartenteacher!
- I hope to pass my End work.. and can look back with a few happy memories of KATHO!
- I hope I can decide if I want to study further for Logopedics at ArteveldeGent.. but I have to put some priorities before that!
- I hope my mother will win the Lottery again :p (but now something like the range with numbers with a few more zero's.. 10000000? maybe :P
- I hope my Brother will pas his almost final year and have a great 18th year birthday..
- I hope I'll pass all my exams in January.. that is, when I will learn them a bit better..
- I hope/wish/want.. Mic will come to visit me in Ireland.. and my mother too..
- I hope to loose some weight as well..
- I hope to persevere and stop biting my nails for ever!!! (but I'm on a fast track to succes :D)

Sow! This was my Sara's 2007.. Hope you enjoyed it and found it interesting! I sure had a great year.. hope there's many of these to follow..
