*Keiko's Place*: Vacation in Braydunes.. (29 dec

Hi everyone!

Last week i've been to Bray - Dunes with Michael, Valentijn and Stefanie for 3 days. Bray Dunes lays not far from the border of Belgium, next to The Panne.
We had an appartment with view on the North Sea.. we were very close! The appartment was from Valentijns aunt and with lots of modern things :D It was very nice!
We left Deinze on Saturday 29th of December, we had a really full car! Pfff :P.. Mic was driving the car (of Stefanie) and we were away. An hour and a half later we were in Bray Dunes allready! Very fast, a bit trouble to find the appartment though.

Once we were settled in, we agreed to go to some shop and get some food.. the appartment was freezing cold, so it would be a couple of hours that the appartment would get hotter! We went walking but every shop was closed.. (it was 12, O' Clock) So we went to the big shop a bit further (The Champion, you can compare this to a GB) and bought our food for 3 days! (We had a lot!!)

When we got home we had our 'dinner' (it was close to 3o' clock I think) We stayed at home, cos an hour later Stefanie and I had to cook lunch.. IMHO I think it was quite good! Although I didn't make much.. I survived the cooking part! (it was potatoes, carrots and hamburgers) an 'easy' meal.. so.. I was quite the Kitchen Princess! :P

At the time we also opened our secret gifts! I had to buy a game for Valentijn (it was a picture frame and some little plates for chips and snacks like that) I was secret Santa for Valentijn, Mic was my secret Santa! I got a DVD from him :D. (Actually kinda weird, cos I already got my present from him) Mic got from Stefanie a book of crosswords and a book of digital photograpics, Stefanie got a hat and gloves from Valentijn :D. And Mic and I gave to Stefanie and Valentijn a nice birdhouse :D for their backyard!
After that we played the whole evening games and more games. Quite fun! It was still a bit cold, but better than before :P
Somewhere around midnight we turned in our beds.. Mic and I in our bed (2persons :D) and Stefanie and Valentijn in their twinbeds (stapelbed?).
After a very good midnightsleep.. we slept till Midday! Pffff :P
We decided to go walking for a bit on the shore.. We'd stroll around the shore for a few hours! We went to De Panne (about 4km - I searched it on the net) and had a drink on the beach of De Panne, we didn't stay long, cos it was already getting dark.. After a strong walk (a very fast one as well) we got back to the appartment in an hour! And it was now very dark... Pff...

This time the boys made dinner.. And very good it was! It was something with Wok and lots of rice and vegetables! It was very nice and tasted very GOOD! After that we did the dishes and gamed some more.. Valentijn prepared a Quiz and after that we gamed some more :P.. everyone was getting a bit tipsy as well I think :P.. Again at midnight we turned in our beds..

The next day we woke up a bit early and began with packing.. our little vacation was over.. Sad it was.. We cleaned up the house, after it was spic and span.. we left our little place.. On our way to Deinze, someone realised that we didn't shut down the refrigerator! (Do'h) So we had to turn back and shut it down.. (V's Aunt asked for it..) Luckely we weren't that far! We were almost reaching Diksmuide..
So we could see the sea and the appartment again! Nice huh?
Then we finally left Bray - Dunes after checking everything again.. at 4 - 5 O' Clock we were back home..

Nice time it was.. (Voor herhaling vatbaar!) I really enjoyed myself! Hopefully everyone had a good time :D
